I am a Nurse Unit Manager, Medical Surgical Ward with Bass Coast Health. I have been a Job Rep since 2015 and I was Job Rep of the year in 2019. I have been a Branch Councillor since 2021. 

I became a nurse in 2003 to care and make a difference. Working in oncology, my patients helped me hone my advocacy skills. As a NUM and delegate, I am committed to supporting all my staff and helping them to achieve their professional goals. I have seen that when empowered, members can advocate and achieve great change and resolve local disputes.

Every member matters. If re-elected, I will work to ensure every member has the support, remuneration, education and guidance they need to fulfil their role. I know that nurses, midwives and carers want to grow professionally and achieve a satisfying work and home life balance. That’s why I am asking you to vote for the Maddy Harradence Team.
