I’m a Maternal Child Health Nurse for Latrobe City Gippsland. I’ve been a Job Rep since 2006 and a Branch Councillor since 2023. I also spent 2022 working as an ANMF Organiser.

I became a nurse and midwife in 2002 because I always wanted to be one, starting after I had my own family. There is never a day I don’t enjoy my job. I’ve devoted my life to nursing, midwifery, and the health of families in Gippsland. From birthing babies to watching them grow, I love it all. I come from a strong union family and as a Job Rep I enjoyed promoting the ANMF community. As a Branch Councillor I continue to advocate for regional voices and safe and strong healthcare provision.

Every member matters. I believe nursing is an incredible career. If re-elected, I want to protect it – for our patients, for our professions, and for the healthcare system. That’s why I’m asking for you to support the Maddy Harradence Team
