FOR BRANCH COUNCILLOR
She/her
I am a registered nurse at Bolton Clarke’s Homeless Persons Program. I have been a Job Rep since 2023.
Like many of you I became a nurse because I wanted to take care of people. After 22 years in perioperative nursing in the UK and Victoria, in public and private hospitals, I became a community nurse.
I joined ANMF because our union stands up for members. I became a Job Rep to participate in the 2024 Bolton Clarke EBA campaign and improve nurses’ and carers’ wages and conditions. It was an extraordinary experience taking 64 days of industrial action with my colleagues. I care about growing our union because we are stronger together and so that members in all workplaces can successfully campaign for themselves and their patients.
Every member matters. If elected I will champion campaigns that win respect and better wages and conditions for members working in community and smaller workplaces. That’s why I’m asking for you to support the Maddy Harradence Team.
